In its first move into business content, the platform hired Rachael McCrary, a lingerie entrepreneur and former SuicideGirl. She will teach creators how to turn ideas into income.

OnlyFans partnered with Rachael McCrary, founder of a lingerie brand and former nude model, to launch business education content on the platform.

McCrary — a veteran lingerie designer and founder of Spice Rack — is releasing four instructional videos on OnlyFans this Wednesday. Unlike typical content on the platform, these videos teach how to pitch investors, build a brand, and run a business as a woman, she told WIRED.

More lessons are planned in the future. In addition, McCrary is working on a Spice Rack x OnlyFans clothing line, set to debut later this year.

This marks OnlyFans’ first venture into content focused exclusively on business development. The project is part of OnlyFans’ push to expand safe-for-work content and balance the adult material that made the platform famous.

“OnlyFans is home to over 4 million creator-run businesses, making it the perfect place to share entrepreneurship tips,” said CEO Keily Blair in a statement to WIRED. “As seen in comedy and sports, one creator leads — and others follow.”

At the Summit Baja tech conference last November, Rachael McCrary, 48, met OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair, and that’s where the idea for the business courses began.

A former SuicideGirl, McCrary says she faced stigma from her past while working in corporate fashion. At one job, she says, coworkers even looked up her old SuicideGirls photos during work hours.
“I just wanted to start crying,” she admitted.

Determined to take control of her career, McCrary went on to launch her own businesses. But, as she explained, “Pitching underwear to tech VCs, I already felt like I had to prove myself more.” According to Inc., only 1% of VC-funded companies in 2024 were entirely led by women. McCrary’s lingerie startup, Spice Rack — backed by Sequoia Partners China and Mucker Capital — is one of those few.

McCrary joked, “It’s rare to be naked online and still raise money from top venture funds.” She said OnlyFans was already planning to expand beyond adult content, so they created a masterclass-style business series together. The first two classes will be free, while later lessons will require a subscription to her OnlyFans page.

Over the years, many young women and sex workers have reached out to McCrary for advice on starting a business or leaving adult work. After she revealed her SuicideGirls past at a 2022 panel, one creator came up to her and said:

  • “I didn’t know you had been online nude — that gives me hope I can have a career after this.”
